Our approach

Corner Grounds Café is a neighborhood coffee shop at 102 N 5th Street, Odessa, Delaware 19730. This policy describes the information involved when you use cornergroundscafe.com, ask about an event, or follow links to third-party services.

This website is primarily informational. It does not run its own customer account system, process payments directly, or provide a database-backed contact form. If our practices change, we will update this policy.

Information you share

If you use our event inquiry form, you may enter your name, email address, phone number (optional), event type, preferred date, estimated guest count, and any message you provide. The form uses your email app to prepare a message to cornergroundscafemot@gmail.com. Filling in the form does not send the message. You must review and send it in your email app.

The website does not save those form fields to a café-operated website database. Your email service may retain the draft or sent message. When you send it, the café receives the information in its email account. If you call or email us directly, we receive the details you choose to share.

Please avoid sending payment-card details, medical information, or other sensitive personal information in an event inquiry.

Website visits and third-party services

Hosting. Our website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the site, such as IP addresses, browser and device details, and request information, in accordance with its own privacy practices.

Fonts and map. We load typefaces from Google Fonts, and the Visit page embeds Google Maps. When these resources load, your browser contacts Google and may transmit technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Google may process data according to its own policies. You can use our printed address and directions link even if you do not use the embedded map.

Ordering and social links. Ordering takes place on Clover, not this website. Our Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps, and Clover links lead to services that have their own privacy practices. Their cookies, data collection, or payment processing are outside the control of this website.

As currently built, the site does not include café-operated advertising pixels, a custom analytics script, or a cookie-based marketing system. External providers may use their own technologies when their content or websites load.

How information is used and shared

Information you send us is used to respond to your question, discuss event arrangements, and communicate with you about the request. Access is expected to be limited to people handling café communications and service providers that support email and website delivery.

Categories of recipients may include our email provider, website hosting/security provider, and third-party services you choose to visit or interact with. The website does not contain a feature that sells inquiry details or uses them for targeted advertising. Please contact us if you want to understand how a specific inquiry was handled.

Inquiry emails may remain in the café's email account for business recordkeeping and follow-up. Retention depends on the purpose of the inquiry and applicable recordkeeping needs. If you wish to request deletion, you may contact us using the details below; we will review what can be removed subject to legitimate business or legal obligations.

Your choices and requests

You can browse the website without filling out the inquiry form. You may choose to contact us by phone instead of email. You can also avoid loading the embedded map by not opening the Visit page, or use a browser that limits third-party resources.

We do not currently operate a café-run system that tracks your browsing activity over time across unrelated websites, and therefore we do not maintain a separate browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control opt-out mechanism for that activity. Third-party providers may collect information when their embedded resources load or when you visit their websites; their privacy controls apply to their services.

To ask what inquiry information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion, email cornergroundscafemot@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may ask for enough information to verify that you are the person making the request.
